02/26/18 - (Monday) Daily Oral Language (Bell Ringer). The students will work on their per-assessment on adjectives.
Learning Targets: I can talk to my teacher about my struggles related to the assessment. I know what an adjective is.
03/05/18 - (Tuesday) Daily Oral Language (Bell Ringer). The students will T4 an article from Easy True Stories.
Learning Targets: I understand the parts of a story. I can use the new vocabulary.
03/06/18 - (Wednesday) Daily Oral Language (Bell Ringer) NWEA Testing. Students will use picture stories to verbalize plot and other complex ideas. The students will draw conclusions when reading the text. The students will create a skit using the new words they've learned.
Learning Targets: I can match vocabulary words to pictures. I can draw conclusions.
03/07/18- (Thursday) Daily Oral Language (Bell Ringer) The students will continue working on test corrections. The students will read an article about traditions. They will T4 the text. The students will review how to use and identify plural and singular nouns. The students will turn in their letters.
Learning Targets: I can explain a story line using my drawings. I understand what predict means and will use this when reading. I can use and identify verbs.
03/08/18 - (Friday) Daily Oral Language (Bell Ringer). Half day. Reading activity (I read to the students and they model). Students play I-Spy to identify items they've learned from the week. The students will discuss with a partner (turn and talk) what they've learned. They will present this information about their partner to the class.
